Hello to all.

A big thank you to all the dancers for coming to the 2026 Callers Cavalcade and Round Up, without you the weekend would not have been a success. Thank you, NTCA, for joining us and helping make the weekend great! I especially would like to thank the Round Up Committee Chairs, Pamela Waugh, Jolene Ryan, & Sharon Witt for their hard work and the time they volunteered. Thank you to all the volunteers who worked at the registration tables, helped in the kitchen, decorating, and the door prize table. We had a great collection of prizes, gift cards and cash that were donated from individuals and clubs which were greatly appreciated. How about a big shoutout for David Toms, Ken Burke and Marilyn Waguespack for keeping us dancing and happy at this special dance.

November 1st is our Fall Back time change. Don’t let that keep you from the NORTEX Meeting at 2:00.

Our NORTEX quarterly business meeting is November 1st at 2:00. The Nominating Committee will be announced at this meeting and then the election cycle will begin. I want to thank all the Elected and Appointed Officers, other Committee Chairs and members for your hard work. Thank you to the Club Presidents and Delegates for attending and please remember to let your Area Vice Presidents or our Secretary know if there are any changes on who is representing your club at the meetings.

November is the month to be thankful and to count our blessings! I have been dancing for almost 14 years, and I feel very blessed to be part of this square dance family. I feel it is an honor and privilege to serve you as NORTEX President, thank you.

I wish you all a great month of dancing and hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
